Family is the school of love. This is where we learn how to love, how to care, how to nurture. Each family has such a beautiful story to tell through the tiny and big moments of love given each day on this grand adventure! Family photos give us a glimpse of your story. I aim to photograph your family as you are.
While we are looking to see your authentic self in the photos, I will be directing and guiding you through every step of the process. I will tell you how to stand, what you should do with your hands, and am full of fun jokes and prompts that will highlight the love that you have in your family.
How I can help make these your best family photos yet
1. I will direct you to showcase the love that is in your family.
Do you feel awkward when you take photos? That will not be the case anymore. During our family photo session, I will be directing you every step of the way. I have a clear routine that will have you snuggling with your family, laughing, and telling stories. We will be interacting the whole time and I will tell you where to put your hands, if you need to lower or raise or chin, and anything else that showcases the love you have in your family.
2. I am organized, which makes for a smooth family session.
I love a good routine. I know the exact flow of working with families to maximize the number of images you will have in your gallery with the minimum time taken out of your busy life. That organization means, we will communicate ahead of your session, during it and your will receive your family photos within two weeks of your session. My routines and organizations allow me to be creative and present to your family.
3. I am a mom of three and I understand the joys and struggles.
My three kids are the source of some of my biggest highs and lowest lows throughout a day. You put a lot in to the day-to-day and the big picture forming of these humans and that is no small task. I understand when your kid needs a minute to warm up or you have a child that struggles to look at the camera. I love connecting with kids to find out what makes them come alive and see that spark of joy for this moment in time.
Families can be messy and kids are kids.
Are you worried that your kids might be crazy? Please don't. I am a mom of three as well as a seasoned family and school photographer. I just want you to relax and enjoy your family. You put a lot of work into the day to day of your life and this is an opportunity to just be with your family. Put the to-do list aside and let me create timeless images with you to remind you just how much love is in your family. As you can see below, we will have a lot of fun cuddling and laughing, no matter how old your children may be.
How do I book my family photos?
1. Book your session online.
All you need to do is click the blue button above, or here, to schedule your family photos. My calendar is updated there so you can see when I'm available and pick the day and time that works best for you. After you book, I will reach out to confirm the location in the Grapevine area or in your home and more details.
2. Enjoy time with your family at your session.
This is where the fun starts! Your photos should be a time to celebrate what makes your family unique. Enjoy the time we spend cuddling and playing. Then after you can go get ice cream at Braums or the parents can celebrate at Hop and Sting while the kids play in the dirt because they're already have looked nice for photos!
3. Pick out your photos and order prints
After about two weeks, you will receive an email with a link to your gallery. From there you will select the ten edited, digital images that are included with your session fee. You will be able to upgrade to the entire gallery for $125 and order prints and products to display your family in your home. They also make great grandparent gifts!

FAQ
Do you offer extended family sessions?
Yes! The story that your entire family tells is something special that should be celebrate and documented. You can find out more about extended family sessions here.
Extended family sessions start at $450, plus Texas Sales Tax, and include 10 edited, digital images. When you receive your gallery, you'll have to opportunity to upgrade to the entire gallery for $125, plus Texas Sales Tax, and purchase prints and products.

Where will our session take place?
Depending on the time of year and your goals for your session, we will work together to come up with a perfect location. I have several parks in the Grapevine area that I like to use for sessions. Some of my favorites include Bob Jones Park in Southlake, Bear Creek Park in Grapevine, AW Perry Homestead in Carrolton, downtown Grapevine, and downtown Colleyville. I also love doing in home sessions, especially for newborns.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
It is so exciting to get that email that your photos are ready! I deliver all edited, digital images within 2 weeks of your session via email. From the online gallery, you will be able to select the 10 edited, digital images that are included in your session, as well as upgrade to your full gallery and order prints and products.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
Weather in the DFW area can change on a dime. If we have an outdoor session scheduled and the weather forecast isn't looking great, we will wait until the day of the session to make the final call on rescheduling because we all know how quickly the weather changes.
If our outdoor session has to be rescheduled due to weather, we will work together to find a mutual time in our schedules to re-book, or we can move the session indoors. Studio space can be rented at studios in Roanoke or Bedford for an additional fee or we can do an in-home session or a Modern Family Session on a simple backdrop at my home studio in Grapevine.
Do you have a studio?
Right now, I have a space in my home that is used as a home studio in Grapevine, near the Euless border. I can host immediate family sessions there when you want a simple background to highlight the joy that is in your family.
If you want to use an indoor space, I have studios in Bedford and Roanoke that I am able to rent for an additional fee.
An in-home session is always a great option for staying cool in the summer and cozy in the winter all without ever having to leave home.
